Fundraising Ideas
· ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Provide the ingredients for ice cream sundaes, and ask for a donation.
· PARENT NIGHT OUT: Once a month provide child care services.
Set a cost per child and provide dinner and activities. Ask for adults to
volunteer to provide the care and give them one free night of service for one
of their children in return. (Suggested fees: $12 for first child, $10 for second
child, and $8 for all additional children in same family.
Suggested times: 6-9 pm, Friday night)
· BAKE SALE
· CAR WASH
· GARAGE SALE
· EASTER BASKETS: Sell Easter Baskets filled with goodies and toys
· SPAGHETTI DINNER
· LITTLE CAESAR’S PIZZA: Fund raising information at www.pizzakit.com
· EXPRESS THE NEED: Go before your congregation and let them know
how important Children’s Camp is in the life of a child.
Show the 2009 Camp Promo DVD.
· WORK DAY: Under adult supervision, have your children do odd jobs.
(babysitting, mowing a yard, pulling weeds, etc.)
· SPONSOR A CHILD: Ask your congregation to help by sponsoring a child to camp.
· WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER: Provide dinner on Wednesday nights
before church.
· BOWL-A-THON: Adults sponsor children a specified amount of money for every pin they can knock down.
· WHEEL-A-THON: Same concept as above but doing laps around the church
Parking lot or a park… whatever the kids enjoy: bikes, scooters, rollerblades
etc.
